Senior leaders from the digital infrastructure, hyperscale platforms, private equity, and government sectors will convene in Reston, Virginia, on September 17 for PTC’DC 2026. The summit will focus on the massive scale of infrastructure required for artificial intelligence, alongside the energy strategies and policy alignments necessary to sustain global growth.

The event will address the critical issues of power demand, capital concentration, and the geopolitical forces currently shaping the AI economy. With investment cycles compressing and energy strategies undergoing significant revision, the forum aims to provide a platform for direct engagement between industry stakeholders and government officials regarding the realities of the ongoing buildout.

The program will start with a session examining the global race for power and capital, specifically looking at hyperscale concentration, infrastructure intensity, and the shifting balance of influence between the United States and China. Throughout the day, participants will explore gigawatt-scale power deployment, the management of high-density AI facilities in constrained markets, and consolidation pressures within the fiber sector.

A high-level group of participants has been confirmed, including the chief executives of Digital Realty, Colt, Dapple, Cogent Communications, Connectbase, EdgeConneX, and Vertiv. Senior executives from NVIDIA, CoreWeave, and Verizon Partner Solutions are also expected to be in attendance, alongside Nate Fick, the former U.S. Ambassador-at-big for Cyberspace and Digital Policy.

Now in its third year, PTC’DC has become a focused gathering for those at the forefront of the economic and operational shifts reshaping the AI economy. The event is organized by PTC, a non-profit membership organization founded in 1978 that is dedicated to advancing digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and information and communications technology on a global scale.
