The home service industry is going through a transformation as businesses increasingly look for suppliers on-demand.

A new startup, ZipLabor, is aiming to build its online service for a wide variety of businesses to help them reach more clients locally, and at scale.

Thanks to the site’s framework, listings can be added in just several clicks of a button, enabling businesses from plumbing companies to garages to be able to put forward their services.

The startup’s unique geolocation technology also aims to provide users with quick access to local services based on where they log in from. Among some of the included listing categories are automotive, carpentry, painting, locksmiths, brick & stone, machinery, irrigation and computer repair.

Often, home service businesses struggle to get their message across in their local area, which ZipLabor is aiming to resolve through its listings. Currently in its Angel funding stage, the business has conceptualized a free-to-download app that will also bring listings to mobile users, enabling them to quickly see local suppliers in just seconds.

With its connection options also enabling tradesmen and homeowners to connect, there’s a closer relationship being established through the platform, providing more transparency for people that are looking for specific workers.

As the U.S. economy expands, there’s growing momentum in the home service industry, and thanks to record economic stimulus, American households now have more purchasing power and financial support to make important upgrades to their homes and businesses.

Among a number of innovative startups, ZipLabor is currently developing its offer to reach homeowners and skilled laborers at scale, with more options being added to its offer in the coming months ahead.
