IKEA U.S. has announced plans to expand its Ohio footprint with a new retail store in Westlake, scheduled to open in spring 2027. The new location will be situated at Crocker Park, marking the company’s third retail presence in the state and aimed at providing more accessible home furnishings to the greater Cleveland area.
The upcoming Westlake facility will encompass approximately 80,000 square feet of retail space. The store is designed to feature more than 5,400 products, with roughly 3,250 items available for immediate pickup. This immediate inventory includes home accessories such as lighting and textiles, alongside more than 250 furniture items.
For larger household goods, including beds, sofas, and storage systems, customers will have the option to place orders through the store or online for subsequent onsite pickup or home delivery. The location will also offer professional design consultation services to assist customers with home improvement projects, such as kitchen redesigns, bathroom refreshes, and bedroom planning.
In alignment with the company’s sustainability initiatives, the Westlake store will include an As-is section. This area will offer gently used, returned, or discontinued products at reduced prices to help extend the lifecycle of the merchandise.
Visitors to the store will also have access to a Swedish Deli, which will serve a variety of food items including meatballs, plant balls, falafel, and other traditional snacks for on-site consumption or takeout.
IKEA is operated by the Ingka Group, which manages 415 stores across 32 countries. The company currently operates 61 retail locations within the United States.
