In a joint effort to bolster digital mental health, The Cybersmile Foundation and Korean skincare brand Erborian have announced a significant partnership aimed at tackling cyberbullying and strengthening self-esteem among users online.

The initiative, centred around the creation of an ‘Erborian Self-Esteem Club,’ combines Cybersmile’s expertise in digital wellbeing with Erborian’s commitment to self-care, forming a comprehensive resource to address the negative impacts of the online world.

The partnership is built on the shared understanding that self-worth and wellbeing are deeply connected, whether individuals are navigating social media or facing real-life challenges.

“We see every day how deeply online environments can affect our mental health and self-esteem,” said Laura Lewandowski, Chief Policy Officer at The Cybersmile Foundation. “Partnering with Erborian allows us to combine expertise and influence to create evidence-led resources that help build stronger, more resilient digital citizens.”

The joint effort will begin with comprehensive research, culminating in a report that explores the direct influence of online experiences on emotional wellbeing. Following this foundational research, the duo plans to develop a brand-new, evidence-informed educational program: the Erborian Self-Esteem Academy.

This Academy is designed to provide actionable skills for people of all ages and abilities, with the goals of helping individuals stay safe online, safeguarding mental health, building emotional resilience, and strengthening self-esteem.

The need for such support is underscored by the pervasive risks of the digital age. While the internet offers immense opportunities for connection and creativity, it simultaneously presents risks such as comparison culture and cyberbullying, which can severely erode confidence.

Dorothée Massoulier, CEO of Erborian, stated that the brand was “dedicated to helping individuals feel good in their skin and is proud to partner with The Cybersmile Foundation to help combat cyberbullying and support stronger self-esteem for all.”

The creators emphasized that the resources will be practical and grounded in real-life experiences, offering valuable, immediate skills that users can implement to navigate online environments in healthier ways. The partnership aims to equip individuals with the tools and support needed to maintain digital confidence and build resilience in a connected world.
