The Web Marketing Association has officially opened the call for entries for its 15th annual international MobileWebAward competition. The program is designed to recognize the individual and team achievements of web professionals globally who create and maintain high-quality mobile websites and mobile applications.

The deadline for submissions for the 2026 MobileWebAwards is Sept. 30, 2026. Entry forms for the program are available through the official MobileWebAward website.

The competition features 86 different industry categories, including financial services, medical, small business, travel, advertising, transportation, and government. Winners in each category will receive a “Best of Industry” MobileWebAward. The highest honors of the competition include the “Best of Show” MobileWebAward, which will be awarded to one mobile website and one mobile application that represent the pinnacle of achievement in web development.

In addition to category-specific honors, the Web Marketing Association will present the “Top Interactive Agency” award to the agency that wins the most awards during the competition. Organizations that secure five or more MobileWebAwards will also receive an Outstanding Mobile Interactive Developer trophy.

Entries are evaluated based on seven core criteria: creativity, impact, design, content, interactivity, ease of use, and use of the medium. Each submission is judged against other entries within its specific industry format and against an overall standard of excellence. The judging panel will consist of a select group of internet professionals, including media members, interactive creative directors, site designers, content providers, and webmasters with expertise in current web development technologies.

Judging for the 2026 cycle is scheduled to take place in October, with the announcement of winners expected in late December.

In the previous year’s competition, Cuker Agency was named the Best of Show Mobile Website winner for the “Kane – Come Back Better” project, which also earned recognition in the fashion or beauty category. Chris Curd received the Best of Show Mobile Application award for “Lauren Jumps.” VML Group Thailand was recognized as the 2025 Top Interactive Agency, receiving four awards across the automotive, real estate, retail, and construction categories.
