Asia’s premier annual fashion event, CENTRESTAGE, is set to return to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from Sept. 2 to 5. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, the 11th edition of the event features a record number of participating designer brands and fashion shows.

As a flagship program of the third Hong Kong Fashion Fest, the event will host approximately 270 brands from 24 countries and regions. The schedule includes more than 40 events, featuring over 30 fashion shows designed to showcase the international influence of the Hong Kong fashion industry and strengthen the city’s status as a global trading hub and center for international cultural exchange.

The HKTDC stated that the organization aims to utilize its global network and exhibition experience to support local fashion brands and designers in their expansion into overseas markets by connecting the industry with global buyers, partners, and media.

A new addition to this year’s lineup is the Hype2 pavilion, which targets the growing global streetwear market and Gen Z consumers seeking self-expression. The pavilion will highlight fashion labels led by local celebrities and influential personalities, fostering collaborations across the fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment sectors. Several participating brands are expected to launch limited-edition or debut products during the fair.

The event will also feature the CENTRESTAGE ELITES fashion show on the opening day, highlighting Kit Wan Studios. Led by Hong Kong-born creative director and visual artist Kit Wan, the multidisciplinary studio will present a solo fashion show titled “MUTANT // MYTHOLOGY.” The production is expected to combine cinematic fashion narratives with wearable silhouettes.

South Korea will debut as a featured partner, hosting the largest pavilion in the event’s history. The Korean pavilion will feature 12 brands from Seoul and 10 brands from the Gyeonggi Fashion Creative Studio. The pavilion will also host a sustainability-themed fashion show featuring a performance by former IZ*ONE member Lee Chae-yeon.

The international scope of the event has expanded to include debut participations from the Faroe Islands, Austria, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Colombia. Other participating nations include Australia and Canada. The fair is open to both industry buyers and the public.
