Cybersmile Ambassador Jake Zyrus has joined a host of stars for Stop Cyberbullying Day 2020 with a message of hope and support.

The singer released a rare post on social media today urging his fans to choose kindness.

“You don’t need to accept other people for who they are, but you can respect them, you can be kind to them. One thing that we can put us all together is kindness. If you have kindness in your heart, love follows,” said Zyrus.

Following on from his successful documentary “Jake and Charice,” which won top awards at the United States International Film and Video Festival – the singer/songwriter has been working behind-the-scenes on his creative passions, gearing up for new projects toward the end of 2020. Zyrus has previously helped fundraise for Cybersmile and in an interview with the organization he said: “You can have the world see you in just a simple click – you should showcase your talent and let the world know who you are. No one can define and introduce yourself better than you!”

Cybersmile Ambassadors Normani, Paige Spiranac, Johnny and Lauren Orlando also participated in giveaways this Stop Cyberbullying Day, encouraging a kinder more inclusive internet.

The Cybersmile Foundation also announced today an exclusive signed book giveaway from British Instagram star Chessie King, who hit the top 3 Amazon Bestsellers list this week with Be Your Own Best Friend.

And WWE Superstar Nikki Cross issued a message of support to her fans on Twitter, having faced online abuse and harassment online. Knowing all too well the struggles that many face with cyberbullying, the wrester said:

I’m supporting #STOPCYBERBULLYINGDAY today because I want a kinder and safer internet. Please think before you type. You have no idea what someone is going through. Please be respectful. That comment or post could have a devastating effect. Be better. There is no try.
